French Roast -
The versatility of our Brazil Prima Qualita is staggering. It was chosen as the main component of our French Roast because it contains many crucial components for making a good French Roast. Most French Roasts don't carry any flavor, other than pure roast. Our goal was to select a bean that had the ability to maintain a great flavor without straying into the "charcoaly" zone. We wanted the flavor to come through the darker roast, but still ha ve a creamy body. The result is a syrupy, balanced and extremely full-bodied coffee that satisfies those who want a dark smokey brew.
Italian Roast -
Our goal in formulating this blend and roast level was to create a lively, smooth and smokey blend evocative of what one expects from a good Italian Roast. A classic, slightly darker than a French, with brooding quality. This coffee is not for the meek.
Joe Blend; a Great House Blend -
Found on film, television stages, and sets all over Los Angeles, this melange of "Dark" and "Peak" roasted beans from Central America and Indonesia keeps Hollywood crews and staffs going strong all day and night long. This coffee reaches out of the depths of a heavily milk and sugared cup and slaps you in the face. Joe Blend brews into a full-bodied, sweet cup with a dark, even mysterious edge.
Joe Dark -
The reasoning behind this blend is, "that the definition of French/Italian/Vienna Roasts has varied so greatly from region to region and from roaster to roaster that we wanted something that would defy any definition and present a dark roasty flavor while maintaining a certain complexity without bitterness. Our goal was to find a flavor that could satisfy both the French Roast lover and other drinkers alike", says Chief Coffee Guy Jeff Chean. The result: Joe Dark, a meticulous blend of high grown hard bean coffees that harmonize to create a dark full-bodied cup with a deep resonant bottom, that doesn't flatten in the middle and finishes smooth and sweet. This coffee really sings.
Kona Blend (10%) -
Inspired by the Kona Kai scandal of the 90's, we blend 10% by weight of our high grade Kona coffee with two origin coffees that fooled everybody into thinking they were Kona for years: Panama and COsta Rica. Coincidentally, we find these two coffees compliment and augment the subtle nuances of Kona coffees.
Mocha Java -
Smooth and earthy Sumatra is combined with the "wild" flavor and medium acidity of Ethiopain, for a deep rich experience enjoyed by many darker coffee purists. A more affordable version of the original recipe, it captures the spirit of the blend.
New World Blend -
One of our most popular blends, this Latin American blend is light and flavorful due to its sweet body and zesty acidity. This coffee produces a very pleasing cup that will be sure to satisfy customers on a daily basis.
Nocturne -
This coffee gently blends the dark notes of Joe Dark with a blend of three peak roasted origins that enhance the body while adding sweetness to the notes of smoke. Smooth and full bodied with a long molasses finish that lingers in the mouth pleasantly long after the cup is empty. It is a tasty way to stave off the alluring songs from the siren of sleep during those long nights.
Supreme Blend -
Carefully selecting Central American and Pacific Island coffees, this truly unique blend is a masterpiece in a cup. Medium bodied with balanced acidity and delicate flavors, the Supreme Blend will make you proud enough to call it your own personal blend.

The Vienna Roast (sometimes called Continental Roast depending on what part of the country you live) is a stage in the roasting process where the origin flavor profile of the beans is precariously perched at the brink of being overshadowed by the roast level. This blend follows the original formula for the world's first blend of coffee. As the name implies, we use our Yemen Mocha and our Java Estate coffees in the famed blends original proportions to creat this cup with bitter sweet chocolate and wild fruity notes. A favorite coffee of serious wine lovers, this blend has found a cultish following that loves to drink it as an espresso. This blend that needs to be experienced to be appreciated.
