Welcome to the new and improved Specialty Coffee Co-Op

Whether you are a long time supporter of this site or a fist time visitor, the changes we have made to this site will benefit you!

First things first; this is not just a redesign. This is an entirely new version of the Specialty Coffee Co-Op. We moved some things over from the old version such as your user names, but everything else is being built from the ground up!

Products are being added all over again so the pictures are better; the descriptions more informative, and the titles easier to understand!

Because we are taking the time to do this the right way, there are some categories that do not have products right now. Those products are not gone! We have products for them from the old site, but we are taking the time to make sure everything is added correctly the first time instead of acting first and fixing everything later!

So what is new? Tons of things!

For starters, the color scheme has changed from the harsh white and red color scheme to much warmer tones that are easier on the eyes.

The menu has been redesigned to be simpler at first glance; but much more complex once you get your hands dirty. There is a new sub menu that only displays once you click a parent category. For example, "Smoothie Additives" only shows up once you click "Smoothies." This way the menu isn't so confusing, and you can take it one step at a time.

There is also a menu on the bottom of the screen now, which lets you access lots of important information with one click! Included in this menu is the new "Information" tab, where the Specialty Coffee Co-Op will bring you unique information about the Specialty Coffee world!

Making the menu even more intricate are the newly added "sort" features. Sort every category by Best Selling, Newest Products, Name from A-Z, Name from Z-A, Product Code from A-Z, Product Code from Z-A, Price from 0-9, Price from 9-0, and Show All. Then there are customized sorts for categories; sort Coffee & Espresso by Ground Coffee or Drip Coffee, Sort Equipment by how many cups they make in a minute, and sort Art by the artist!

Also now you can learn while you shop!

On the right side of every page is an "information panel." This panel has information about what you are viewing; find out the true definition of a Smoothie in the smoothie category, how to pull a shot in the Espresso Equipment category, and the rich history of Caffe D'Arte in the Caffe D'Arte category!

The Specialty Coffee Co-Op has also reached out and integrated outside software to help improve your experience all around.

We now use UPS exclusively for our shipping!

This software connects to UPS online and based on your zip code, the zip code where the product code is coming from and the weight of the product, it will calculate your shipping fees on the spot!

We are also now secured and bonded with BuySafe!

BuySafe certifies the Specialty Coffee Co-Op as a trusted merchant so much that they offer optional bonds when you are checking out to insure your product!
